i know of a french manicure where the tips are originally painted white/ivory then the rest of the nails has clear polish or nude/pale/pinkish polish that makes the nails look cleaner. i've also seen variants where in the tip is a different color from the rest of the nail. could this be the italian manicure i've heard about?What is an italian manicure?

well then an italian manicured is when the tip is painted with their flag color or as a mini flag itself.
