I am going to get a french manicure tomorrow for the first time...?

I have never got my nails done before, and I was wondering what all they do (what the steps are for the manicure), and if they ask you any kinds of questions in particular?I am going to get a french manicure tomorrow for the first time...?
just tell them u want french manicure or white tips. they will like buff you're nails with this electric buffer, none of it hurts i promise. they will put the really long white tips on then cut them and ask how long you want them, then will do more buffing things and filing with your nails, then they put the acrylic on. they dip a brush in this liquid and then in some powder, it's all the acrylic and will even that out on your nails. at some point you will just have to wash your hands. i usually pay in cash, make sure u kno if they take cards or not before you walk in without cash. when they are done you will hold ur hands in front of a fan so they can dry, usualy only takes a minute and ur done!I am going to get a french manicure tomorrow for the first time...?
No questions that I know of, unless they ask if you've ever had a nail disease (ie a fungus or infection).

If you're booked for a full manicure then you'll soak your hands in a basin of warm water and something that smells nice (mine is always slices of real fruit and a scoop of epsom salts), they'll massage your hands, exfoliate, lotion, etc. Then they smooth, shape and file your nails, paint them, and dry them. Takes about an hour or so depending upon where you are.

If you are only getting a mini-mani (aka just the paint job) then they'll lotion you up, smooth, shape and file your nails, pain you, dry you, and away you go. It takes around a half hour.

If you're getting acrylic or gel nails then it will take a while longer. They have to apply the tips or coats of gel, let it set, etc. and this is a little more lengthy.

Nothing is painful.
