What are the proper steps to french manicure?

1) clean your nails with nail polish remover. (even if you have no nailpolish on this will help. it will make the new nail polish go on smoother and stay on longer)





2) color coat





3) 2nd coat of the color





4) white stripe at tips





5) if the color is on the sheer side: 3rd coat of the color to smoothen out the surface. (and follow up with a coat of clear polish for protection)


if the color is not at all sheer then do a coat of clear nailpolish to smoothen out the surface.
