Whats the Difference between a French & American Manicure?

I've never actually heard of an American Manicure... and was just wondering what it was?

thanks :)Whats the Difference between a French %26amp; American Manicure?
A French manicure has more of a flesh toned base or a nude look to it. It goes with most fashion choices and with at a look of simplicity that will make your outfit shine. The look is very sophisticated and can give the ugliest hands a chance to look classy. The French manicure looks great and goes good with a dark cocktail dress or a red formal gown. They can be seen at formals and black tie events. The French manicure is very bold in nature and can be recognized by the white tips.

American manicures start with a shade of pale pink and then finish up with opaque white for the tips. The tips are sometimes painted first and then the rest of the nail is then painted with a base of ping or a neutral shade that will bring out the color of the nail. You can get an American manicure for around ten dollars, and you can add the tips for around twenty dollars more. With the American manicure you can also receive a hand massage or a skin treatment free, but some places will charge a small price.Whats the Difference between a French %26amp; American Manicure?
an american manicure has a natural finish too it. instead of getting stark white tips, it's made to look like your natural nail color, and tends to be more pinkish in tone instead of white, like a french manicure .....i only get american manicures, so this much i know :P
its the same process till the end when in the american the whole nail is painte with a sheer fless tone pinkish color... stark white tips are more natural lookin
A couple of thousand miles
