How do you give yerself a french manicure?

how do you give yerself a french manicure

i want to go to a salon but i can't right noww so how can i do it myselffHow do you give yerself a french manicure?
they sell those home manicure sets at any drug store...but if ya cant make it there...try a neutral shade (beige, shimmer etc) as a base coat. Apply like one coat. make sure it dries completely. I would wait maybe..an hour or two just to be sure.

then use some simple scotch tape-put the pieces of tape over the nail bed leaving just enough at the tip. once you have all your nails taped...apply white nailpolish. you can be messy with this because the tape is protecting the base coat. Once the polish dries, remove the tape. follow with another translucent beige coat(the same one u did ur base coat) and allow to dry.

You can do this with lots of different colors...but if you pick a darker base coat--do not apply it over the white part--duh!

i like doing black and white--or soemtimes red and white tips.How do you give yerself a french manicure?
dont think you should do it...especially if you dont know how....just go buy the glue on nails
It would be much easier if you would find someone else to do it for you. Whether you do or you don't find anyone, this is what you should do:

1. Find clear, white, and peachy nailpolishes. Also, get tape and nailpolish remover.

2. Give your nails a base coat in a peachy-colored nailpolish. Use only three strokes in each nail, one on the right side, one on the left side, and one in the middle.

3. Cut small pieces of tape in the shape of your nail and stick them on right ontop of the white edge of your fingernails after the nailpolish dries. They will be your ';stencils.';

4. Using a thin brush, brush over the stencil. If you mess up, the white nailpolish will end up on the tape, not your nail. If it still doesn't look right, use the remover and start over. You will probably need patience.

5. Once you are finished with the white nailpolish, give yourself a top coat with clear nailpolish. This will also add some shine.

It will be much, much easier if you could ask a friend, parent, or sibling to help you with this.
easy, get white nail polish, cut up strips of tape in a thin line, place just below the white part of your nail and paint the white polish over. when it dry's remove the tape, then set with a clear coat
thats the problem u cant my sister was trying to do it by her self and made a big mess but that was a long time ago but im getting off trace its best if u had someone els do it
You can put nail polish on the edge of the white part of your nails and then (any color) and then let the nail polish dry. Then put clear polish over your nails at least 2 to 3 coats...it does work!!!!
