search for some parlours online and read for the reviews.... make sure the look and feel of the place is clean and neat...


they sure will buff the nails and shape them.. you can ask them to do as you want them to be..... make sure they sterilize everything before using...

Tell them exactly what you want and make sure that that is understood. Bring in pictures too! Go in to a salon and make the appointment does it look clean? Do you see licenses on the walls or any where?


Go to a place that is a little difficult to get into. Usually that is a good sign!
Well, the most important thing is make sure the place is clean(has microwaves for killing the germs on tools) and has hot water! You definitely don't want to go to a dirty place.


Yes, they will shape and buff your nails.
There are many things to check to make sure you are going to a quality salon. Check my website and read the link ';Our Pledge'; Check everything listed there. Natural nails should not be buffed too often, some of my clients never need to be buffed at all. It depends on your nails. Cleanliness would be my biggest concern. Do NOT shave your legs 24 hrs before your ped and make sure that they not only clean/wipe out the tub after each client but that they run an epa registered disinfectant for 10 minutes after each client.

if you didn't want to spend to much money and go for the experience you could always try your local college. i went and had it done a few years ago and it was really good, a teacher was supervising them and they did buff and shape my nails they asked what shape i would like them too.
