Best manicure for fingernails?

I have been takeing supplements for my joints for several monthes, which has strengthened my fingernails, to where they are getting pretty long now. My question is, Since I have never had long fingernails before in my life, I want to know, What is the best shape to manicure fingernails for strength? Is rounded better or squared off, like you see so many woman have these days with the french tip style? Also, If I wanted to do my own french manicure, are there any good products to do this on my own?Or would it be best to have a salon do it?Best manicure for fingernails?
Salons are best for french manicures. And squared-off nails are good because thats how girls who play sports have there nails, because they dont break as easily.Best manicure for fingernails?
shorter more stuby fingers look better rounded off and longer more slender ones look better squared off. try to go for a natural look maintenence look a choose a good aesthetician. They can perfect the shape of the nail to best compliment your hand.
i love french manicures, and i think they will look good on you!

you should go to the salon if you absolutly have no experience painting your own nails, but otherwise, you can buy french manicure do-it-yourself kits at shoppers drug mart. look for the french manicure set which has the most materials in it. also, with french manicures i like the nail shape sort of in between squarey and roundy. i say do it square and then round off the edges a little bit.

hope this helps! :]
